Partner Venue ambience technology

Music that follows the room.

Waved puts sensors in a venue and reads what is actually happening in it — the crowd, the music, the noise underneath. Then it keeps the volume where it should be, all night, without anyone reaching for a dial.

Listens to the room

Wireless sensors capture the room’s full array of sound — the crowd, the music, the noise underneath both.

Reads the dynamics

Waved analyses the room every five seconds, so it follows a night as it changes rather than guessing at it.

Balances the music

The volume moves with the crowd — never shouting over an empty room, never buried under a full one.

Why we care about it

Vibecheck exists to answer one question: what is this place like right now? Today we answer it with people — whoever is inside, telling us how it feels. That works beautifully once a few people have spoken, and not at all before.

Waved answers the same question with a measurement, and a measurement does not need a quorum. A venue running Waved can show a true live vibe on a quiet Tuesday with nobody voting at all.

We're building this into the live vibe on venue pages. Where the reading comes from Waved, the page will say so.

Built for Bars, cafés, restaurants and hotels — by zone, so a room can differ from the floor above it.
Fits the room you have Connects to the existing sound system and never touches the audio signal itself.
Norwegian Based in Oslo, already running in venues across Bergen and Oslo.

Running Waved in your venue?

Tell us — venues already using it are first in line when the live vibe integration goes live.

Vibecheck may earn a referral fee if you sign up with Waved through this page. It costs you nothing extra, and it never affects how venues are ranked, scored, or shown anywhere in the app.
